Question by mznocent: Which free web page hosting sites will allow you to upload complete web page files?
Since I have to move my pages from Geocities, I need a free site that will easily upload my complete geocities pages. Any ideas?

sounds like you might want to do more than what your existing FREE host provider will allow. for 5.96 a month, you can do ANYTHING YOU WANT at http://www.omnis.com. Let me know if you have any trouble. CHOOSE the UNIX hosting, its less expensive and it’s more flexible.

I pay £10 a year for the domain name, so that is the yearly cost of my site. Free hosting rocks

If your current internet provider is Earthlink, AOL, SBC Global and others which provide a homepage; you can easily FTP your own webpage designs as a new homepage. And using a redirection service such as mydomain.com or the forwarding of a parked domain name at godaddy.com, you can easily “mask” the homepage URL with a proper domain name. So in a sense, you have a working ecommerce website disguised as a homepage while still paying your normal monthly Internet provider’s access and hosting fee of the homepage.

I would suggest 000webhost free hosting. They have no ads, 1.5GB of space, 100GB of monthly bandwidth and most of the basic things are supported. They also have a website autoinstaller which you can use to install shopping websites, forums, blogs and more with 1 click. I would say a free host is the best to start with, then you can switch to a payed one with more options if you need them.
