How can I transfer a domain name from one registrar to another?

Question by Jack: How can I transfer a domain name from one registrar to another?
I registered a domain name a few months ago with a little known company. The problem is the company’s service is a piece of crap – half the time their name servers are down. So I want to transfer that domain name to godaddy. So how do I go about it? Do I need to notify the old registrar and get their permission or can I just pay godaddy for the transfer and have it take place?

yes u can very well transfer, contact the customer support of both the old and the new, host they ‘ll duly help u out. i did the same when i transfered my site to http://www.tucktail.com/

Don’t trust any cheap service, many of them don’t allow you to have full control on your domain name. If you’re going to buy domain names, refer to:
