Question by : Where can i get a free web domain name without having to pay?
I want a free domain website e.g: .co.uk, .com, .tv, .cc, .net
I don’t want want to pay any fee just for a domain name. I’ve been to every crook and cranny websites offering free domain names registeration but when I tried they tried to charge me for registering. So any ideas for where else to go and get a free domain please let me know. All imporetant answers are appreciated!

I would highly recommend you purchasing your own domain (/year) – that way you have complete control over it. However, you might want to check out this list of places to register domain names: http://midflux.com/domain-register-list.php (they list two reputable sites that offer free domain names).

They don’t exist. If you want a top level domain name, you have to pay. If you don’t want to pay, then you’ll have to settle for a third level domain name.

Yeah, free domains don’t exist because it’ll be extremely difficult for a company to give them away in mass quanities without going broke or selling their organs. This is because there will always be fees attached to them.
If you want a domain name, you are either going to have to wait until you can purchase one yourself or ask someone you know to purchase one for you either as a gift (if you’re completely broke) or in exchange for cash (if you can come up with the cash but don’t have the means to purchase things online).
Please keep in mind that the domain name is only part of the cost. You are also going to have to pay for the hosting. A good hosting package from a reputable company, depending on your needs, is going to range from $35 to $100+. There are companies that do offer free domain hosting but they will have advertisements, limitations, etc. If you have specific needs, you are going to have to pay for your hosting.

AS far as I know nobody will register the domain names for free, so even if you would find a place you’d have to spend some money. This site has a nearly perfect with google checkout and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.

Right now no domain registrar is offering free web domain name. But you get one free if you plan to buy a web hosting plan from them. Likewise, some registrar offer cheap web domains for $1.99/yr. They are not free but come for lowest price. try http://www.SuperM.com

Getting a top level domain is near impossible unless you buy hosting from a web host offering free domain names. But the only ways to get free domains are all illustrated in the video below.
