If you want to try a real web hpsting for free, then use Hostgator. You can use this guide – http://www.freehostingsites.org/hostgator
You can practise starting with their Site Builder, using FTP etc. If you want more challenge, you can try PHP and MySQL
Hostgator is one of the big ten and the only one giving free trial. They are better than the big ones like Godaddy, Bluehost etc.
Hope you will have fun.

I would say http://www.webs.com is the best for it, unless you need php! That’s a little more tricky to find free, and unfortunately I can’t remember the website ^^; But if all you need is css, html, xhtml and maybe javascript just the basics really then it’s all good on there
You can also use the template mode when you’re feeling lazy
hope this helps!

HostGator coupon “SdexpertsSave994″ saves 9.94$ http://bit.ly/cSBxo4 Use it before it dies. You will just have to pay 1 cent when you start.

You can upload your site to freehostia : http://www.freehostia.com , they are better among free hosts, support php and mysql too.
Also you can get a free domain name from http://www.co.cc if you don’t have one
