revenue will I lose all the revenue I have been earning from my original site or will my adsense revenue amount remain the same even if I take down my original site and try to get the recreated site approved?

    You AdSense codes will remain the same even if you use them at many different sites. What affects your AdSense earnings at your newly-changed site is the traffic it gets as opposed to the old one.

    Okay, here’s the deal. People are coming to your site now because of the content you offer. Your ads are realated to that content.
    If you re-do your site and stay with the same theme and information you might see a temporary drop in traffic and revenue, but as soon as the search engines re-index your new stuff, people will start coming back.
    If you go with all new stuff the drop in traffic and ad revenue might suffer more but should eventually return if the new content is good. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

    If all other conditions remain the same, then most probably your revenue will decrease until the new site gains the same traffic and popularity.
