You can certainly opt to get paid by check. Google even has secured payment delivery — but you have to pay additional fee
But why not just EFT? I’ve been using EFT with Adsense ever since this option was introduced way back in 2003 and I’ve never had a problem with it. Not only is EFT faster, but it eliminates the risk of the check getting lost in the mail or being stolen in your mailbox

To advertise your website on Google, create an Adwords account http://www.google.com/adwords . If you opt to advertise in the network, meaning Adsense sites, make sure that your Adsense accounts block your ads from being shown in your own website.
