Next, you will select a product which will pay you high commission. Finally, you will put the affiliate link of this product in your blog and wait for someone to click the link!
I used to do like that. I thought I could make some easy money with this way. I did not realize what I thought about affiliate marketing was totally wrong. As you can read from the definition of affiliate marketing, the key to success in this business is promotion (or marketing) and advertisement.
In other words, the affiliates like us need to promote the products in whatever means in order to generate the sales. This includes the advertising of the product for maximum exposure. I dare to say a lot of affiliates failed to make money online because they could not find the effective way to promote the products.
