  4. How to insert a screenshot in your blog? Firstly, you need to download a free screenshot software at this website. Then, install the software in your computer.

Once Google has approved your Google Adsense account, you can login to your Google Adsense account. The steps to create a Google Adsense Ad unit are as below.

  1. After you have login to your Google Adsense account, click the Adsense Setup Tab on the top.
  2. Then, click Adsense for Content.
  3. Next, select Ad unit and click Continue.
  4. Then, you will be directed to a page to choose Ad format and colors. For example, you can choose the Ad format 728×90 Learderboard. You can change the color of your Ad unit on this page. Click Continue after you have changed the Ad format.
  5. Next, Click Add New Channel and key in a name for your new Channel. For example, you can key in a name such as your domain name for the website your want to place an ad. Click Ok after keying the channel name.
  6. Then, click Continue.
  7. Next, click, Submit and Get Code.
  8. Then, copy the Google Adsense code.
  9. After that, login to your wp-admin (wordpress). Click Manage tab on the top.
  10. Next, click Ad units tab. Paste the Google Adsense code into the empty box and click Import to New Ad Unit button.
  11. Finally, you will be directed to Edit Ad page. Click apply button and follow with save changes button.

The recommended Ad format should be chosen are :

  • 728 x 90 Leaderboard. You can place this ad format on the top or bottom of your content page.
  • 468 x 60 Banner. You can place this ad format on the top, bottom or in between of your content page.
  • 336 x 280 Large Rectangle. You can place this ad format on the top or bottom of your content page.
  • 180 x 150 Small Rectangle. You can place this ad format on the side bar.
  • 120 x 600 Skyscrapper. You can place this ad format on the side bar.

How To Place The Ads ?

  1. You can use the widget to place the ads on the top, bottom and side bar of your content page.
