Question by Rhoda: I am trying to set up my exchange activesync account, I need my server add. & domain name for my cell phone.?
I got a new cell phone and I am trying to access my email account through my phone, what is my server address and domain name for my yahoo account?

Unless your phone has a “Yahoo App” that let’s you get email, you will have to pay to upgrade your Yahoo Mail to Yahoo Mail Plus. It’s a year and comes with a host of features that you don’t get on Yahoo Mail – like disposable email addresses which are great for avoiding spam.

There are other services that offer free POP3 email access, but if you are like me and have had your Yahoo email account for a long time, its just not worth trying to change to a different service. And at a year, that’s only a couple of bucks a month. Skip a coffee once a month and you’ve got it paid for. It’s well worth it to be able to get my Yahoo email on any device I carry.

Question by Rick S: What is the server name and domain for yahoo so that I can use activesync to acess and sync my yahoo calendar?
Intellisync doesn’t work for my pocket PC so I have to use Activesync which came with pocket PC. The problem is that it is asking for domain and server name. I have NO CLUE as to what this would be for yahoo.

I am very interested in this answer also. I can no longer access my Yahoo mail from the office (blocked) but I could read them through another email account, if I had the info on the Yahoo server.
