Me and my friends want to be able to work on a website project from our own computers at home once it a while, but all the free hosting sites we use seem to only allow us to use one IP address? Any webmasters on here that might know any free hosting sites that allow more than one IP address per account?

I didn’t know this was a problem with most free hosts. We have no restrictions on this type of access. I know I update our site from multiple places, so why shouldn’t you be able to update yours?

If you don’t want to go with our hosting (IsMyWebsite.com), I’d recommend then Zymic. They’re probably a close second best. Excellent resources to find free hosting providers: Free-WebHosts.com and FreeWebSpace.net.

You can be almost certain that no shared hosting provider will let you host a file hosting website on their servers. If you want to do it, you will have to go for dedicated hosting. Check out more about dedicated hosting on the following page.
