Where in the rules does it say that I cannot post how much I make from google adsense on my blog?

I think you are not allowed to show your CTR(click through rate) and CPC (cost per click)

A lot of people show their monthly earnings though, be it real or fake

I know auto surf is exempted as a visitor method on google adsense but what about Manual surf?
