Question by Corey M: Where can I find a credible site to buy a web domain name without having to buy the actual web site?
Every place I go to, there’s something complicated that I don’t understand, and I NEED A WEB SITE, but first I just want the domain so that I can have my friend edit the site with whatever he’s using to edit. Plus, are there any webmasters out there (also credible, because I don’t want to have to take anyone to court over my Copyright) who can help me?

I have 26 domains there. They are also one of the least expensive. You can search for coupons for godaddy before you go to their site and you will typically find 20% off or domains for .95 or so.

When you order with them they present you offers to build your site or host with them, you have no obligation. They have excellent customer service too.

I have used both Fatcow and hostgator personally so I can tell you that these are companies you should go with. FatCow is a bit worse than HostGator but it is much cheaper so go with them if you are on a lower budget.

well i can tell you of a great one i use and have for many years. it is called 1and1 and the prices are very cheap. they even give your your own domain name free for joining. goto www.1and1.com and take a look at their many different packages. i hope this helps….
