Question by Kurt d: How can I host my website through one host and email on another?
I want to host my website from a particular web host but my email from another service provider. Thing is the domain name is the same. How can I change the NS settings without changing the MX settings which I want to use for another host? Kinda tricky, but I need a solution… thanks

Question by West Coast G: Can I transfer a domain to a different “owner” email address? SEE BELOW!?
I purchased a domain and used my Yahoo email account. Now, I need my web comapny to transfer it to different servers, but they have to access the domain to be able to do it. I just don’t want to give them the password to my personal email address, but I can’t find a way to transfer ownership to a different email address. Maybe someone knows how to create a separate password for the domain management? versus my personal email account?

Question is not clear.

From whom/which provider you had got a domain.

Question by mat j: PHP Email Form with Godaddy Email but third party hosting?
I am trying to get a PHP Mail function to work through godaddy, but I am not sure where to direct the SMTP out. The main problem is my email is hosted through Godaddy, but my site is hosted through a local company.

I tried the relay-hostings.secureserver.net, but I found out this only works if your site is HOSTED on godaddy. Any help?

Not gonna happen. Godaddy don’t want spammers to access their stuff, so they restrict mail attempts from inside their own network.

You would need to setup an email server, to redirect any incoming emails to the right account.

Question by rhc99: Best free web host with free subdomain email?
I need a free web host for testing purposes. It can be a subdomain. What I need also is it to have email. So far I’ve tried freehostia and byethost and they both do not have free email. Or maybe I’m not doing it right. If someone knows how to use free email on freehostia or byethost or if they know of a host that has free email, please let me know.
Thank you.
