Private Registration is 8.99 per year, per domain.

If you have already registered the domain name, it will take the amount of time left on your registration and prorate the amount for private registration. For example, you bought a domain 2 months ago and you now decide to add privacy to the domain. When you add privacy to your shopping cart, it will only charge you for the 10 months left on the domain. Below is a set of instructions on how to add privacy to your existing domain.

To Add Privacy to Your Existing Domains:

1. Log in to your Account Manager (Go Daddy Account).
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. Use the checkbox(es) to select the domain name(s) you want to modify.
4. Click Upgrade.
5. Select Private Registration, and then click Next.
6. Select one of the following:

Use existing account
If you already have an account with Domains By Proxy, enter your User ID and Password for the account.
Create account
If you do not have an account, we create a Domains By Proxy account for you. We send the user name and password in an email message after creating your account.

7. If you agree to the Domain Name Proxy Agreement, select I have read and agree to the Domain Name Proxy Agreement.
8. Click Next.
