Question by NAR: How important is a domain name to the success of a website?
I have had some success with my current domain name, but I am looking to make more money. Could changing my domain name increase the activity at my website? And is it worth changing my domain even after the effort and advertising I have put in to my current domain. My current domain is http://www.Enriched-Marketing.com
Based on my current content should I change my domain name?

It can be VERY important. You want to pick a domain name that is catchy, short, and easy to remember. If you pick a domain name that is too long, customers will have a very hard time remembering it. If you had success with this name already, I would keep it the way it is if I were you. You could be getting referrals or repeats from previous users without realizing it. Your best bet would be to invest your time and/or money into advertising. This would give you the income boost you are wanting. Best of luck!

How to phrase your words for a search is very important. I find that I can rephrase questions and get results when my first attempt fails. If you get stuck finding answers in a search engine,just keep trying to sustitute words that are close to the original question,sooner or later you do figure it out.

I’ve always heard that it’s important to purchase your own domain name for good search enging ranking, but I see plenty of good websites on the first pages of searches that don’t have their own domain name.
Should be *engine* not enging…sorry!

it depends on how close people are to the name of your website if you appear in their top results. Say your website is called cool places in france, and they search france website it will be in the bottom but say someone searches for cool france places it will be in the top. Most website also give you a tool to add properties so that it appears if they search, enter as many phrases as needed.
