Question by spiffycrony: What receipts do we get when we book a domain name through an internet company?
I have booked a domain name 2 days back through an internet company. I got no receipts till now. I see my name on the whois.com for this domain name. I emailed the internet company and no replies till now. I want to know what receipt I should have inorder to claim that this particular domain name is mine. Suppose tomorrow I opt for another company as my host then how do i tell them that this domain name is mine? By the way I made the payment for the domain name through a bank cheque.

You’ll only receive a confirmation e-mail with the order number but you can also request a copy of the invoice sent to your e-mail.

Godaddy is the best in my personal opinion, they have a better and easier to control; control panel. its far better than anyone else I’ve bought domain from, but I do not use godaddy hosting because I have an unlimited plan with another provider for wayy cheaper
