Question by onetwistedbutterfly: does having a keyword domain name help the search?

Best answer:

Answer by Jack21
Well, It helps only in MSN I think. The giants like Google and Yahoo no more follow this method. In fact they give more weightage to backlinks.

Question by romemakeway: How to accomplish an exact domain name match based on a keyword search?
if the keyword i’m targeting is “Home Help Treatment” (33 searches a day) and i’m trying to get www.homehelptreatment.com (but it’s already registered), if I register www.homehelptreatments.com (w/ an “S” at the end) will my website come up 1st in Google or will the other guy’s?
**note the “Other guy’s” site is NOT optimized. Thx

Best answer:

Answer by Nate D
There is no one right way to get at the top on Google (or the others). But chances are the optimized site with the s will be over the unoptimized site.

Question by Johnny: How important is keyword density in regards to search engine optimization (SEO)?

Best answer:

Answer by iron_wolf1952
How to phrase your words for a search is very important. I find that I can rephrase questions and get results when my first attempt fails. If you get stuck finding answers in a search engine, just keep trying to sustitute words that are close to the original question, sooner or later you do figure it out.

Question by TransPersonal: Can keyword rich div ids increase search engine optimization?
Do search engines take the names of DOM elements like divs and tables into account. So for example would a div called “some keyword” be better than one called “body”?

Best answer:

Answer by Chris G
Search engines look for specific elements that are known to bring emphasis in web pages, like h[1-6], b, strong, and em. They skip over containers like span and div to get to the actual content.
