Question by Max: Can I take legal action against someone who replaced my payment information with theirs on Google Adsense?
I let a friend of mine help me manage a Google AdSense account and didn’t realize they had switched my payment info for theirs. A few months later I checked and saw they had received over 0 in ad revenue from my website. Am I SOL since I let them use my account or is that considered stealing?

No i doubt you’ll get your money back, so sorry

Only because you gave someone else access to your account which is against Adsense terms =/

sorry and good luck in the future!

Question by boardnut101: Is it legal to register a domain name that has an existing company name as part of the domain name?
For example – could Ford Motor Company have legal recourse if someone registered the domain name: ChicagoFord.com or FordCarsNow.com, etc.

No it is not legal, it is considered cybersquatting. You can not use trade marked names in your domain name.

Question by snowymichigan: Is it legal to buy a domain name when it becomes available and to then forward that domain?
I am not sure how this works legally. If someone were to buy a domain after it had expired and the renew period had ended and the original owner had not renewed could a competing business then legally forward traffic to their own site after buying the domain? In this case the domain is the name of the other business.

The Internet Comittee for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) would allow it until the original owner complained. There have been enough cases brought tfor resolution where the name was transferred back to the original owner.
