Question by Berto: how can i add ads to my website? i have free webhosting from microsoft office live small business?
my website address for now is http://bertobuay1.design.officelive.com/default.aspx for now i am still constructing it. i want to know how i could paste the codes on the website from example .. google ads and other paying ad companies?

First off, go ahead and buy a domain (around bucks). Making money on the internet is a lot of work, and you don’t want to spend all that time developing a website that you could lose control of.

The most important thing to focus on at this stage is creating some really fantastic content. Doesn’t matter what the niche is, but make something useful.

Once you have a steady amount of traffic (at least 100 unique visitors a day), think about adding advertising. AdSense is only profitable if you’re in a high paying niche. If your website is about knitting, it wouldn’t be the best option for you. Check out Project Wonderful (http://www.projectwonderful.com/) for another affiliate advertising option.

When your site has a substantial user base, you’ll be able to sell advertising directly. This is where you can start to make a salary from your website.

How do I find an HTML source for free music to put on my window’s Live Space (web page)?
It takes different types of files :
Supported formats include WMA, WMV, WAV, AVI, MPG, MPEG, MP3, ASF, ASX and SWF.

But It will not allow me to put my saved hard drive music on it. I have been trying to do this for what seems like hours. Can anyone help me. I have not subscribed to any music sites-paid and if I do the trial versions, those in about 14 days and the music would be gone I guess from my page, so I don’t want to do that. So what can I do? Thanks.
Okay well I did a search on here and found a great answer in a previous question and it works!!! So thanks to anyone who tried to answer this.

I signed up for microsoft office live and got their free domain name registration. I decided that their service is to plain. Can i change my domain name servers to somewhere else? If so, how do i do it?

If they are sup[plying this as part of a hosting deal you may not be able to move it. They would want a fee to transfer the domain name out as they have had to pay for it. You would also probably need then to pay for the domain.

They are 3 ways to send money. wire transfer, checks or western union for selected countries. Since you live in Pakistan the best way is apply for Western union as payment method. you will find it among payments options in your AdSense account.

I want to make a website for my photography, I read something saying “Free Website” but I don’t know if the custom domain name costs anything? It said .95/year, but that was crossed out, so I’m really confused. Or could someone tell me where to make a free website with no ads, and one that I can make my domain name for free?

You get the site free for a limited time, then you pay. It’s cheaper to buy your domain name (they’re as cheap as /year, depending on the tld). you can buy hosting (as little as /month) or you can host on your own computer. XAMPP is an install package for the same web server that the big web hosting companies use (on their Windows boxes – it’s LAMPP for Linux boxes).
