If you’re accessing a directory, such as:

www.mydomain.com/mystuff/

remember to put a slash at the end of the URL. If you try an address such as:

www.mydomain.com/mystuff

you may be challenged twice for the password.

you need to initial transfer frm yahoo first. u will find steps in godaddy help.

I thought I could just point my domain to the new host and keep it where it is (because the renewal fees are very cheap).

You don’t necessarily have to transfer your domain, you can just set up a re-direct. Then, when people type in your usual domain, it will go to your old site, but then automatically take them to the new one.

If you dont live in the US declare you are not a citizen and you dont need to send any info.
