go to TexasDataHost
http://texasdatahost.co.cc

To officially own a domain name what you must do is register the domain in your name, what TexasDataHost does is you can also get a registrar lock and ID protect on the domain which will most likely gaurantee that as long as you are paying for that domain, you and you only own that domain

Question by Inquisit: How come E-commerce hosting plan only offer 50mb web space while Personal offers 50gb?
I am signing up to get online web-hosting and is a bit confuse on why there is so much difference in web-space when you compare the e-commerce plan with the personal plan. The e-commerce plan cost about per month and offers 50mb of web-space. The personal plan however offers 50gb of web-space and cost about per month. Why is there such a difference in price and space?

I’m new to this internet thing so please excuses me it I sound silly for asking such question. Thanks..

You could use Javascript to download a file and use the data to update the page dynamically. This is done using the XmlHttpRequest object, but it’s usually easier to use one of the many javascript libraries that are out there

Examples:
http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/connection/
http://www.jquery.com/Ajax ( http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/library/x-ajaxjquery.html )

Question by usgirl_23: How can I buy cheep unlimited web space with only one payment?
I don’t know much about having my own website. But I have some ideas, and I would like to start a web page, not just a little blog. But with the potential of being used for a business. All the places I have seen so far have monthly, or yearly payments. Is there a cheaper way to buy web space with only one payment and have it be permanently mine? Again, I am not an expert on this and so I may be asking the wrong question.
Thank you for your help.

Your ISP may offer webspace for free w/ your current subscription, but not unlimited, usually 10-100mb. You won’t find anything that is single payment forever hosting. You’ll probably be best off going w/ a solution like godaddy, their service is extremely affordable, has a lot of plugins already built in, email and solid administration. I wouldn’t put anything that i would ever want to turn into a business on a free server. If you are serious about what you are doing you should really consider investing at least some monetary value into it (be it a month even).

only to redirect to your own URL, you can do after you bought Domain name. In the control panel, it has an option to let you do redirect. no hosting required. At GoDaddy.com I am doing this with my domain.
