Question by Bob Bobbers: Free or really cheap domain names?
i want to make a website for a business i’m creating. i want to be able to sell stuff on my website and have it supported by pay pal (doesn’t have to be but is preferred). i also would like it to back it up so i don’t have to (doesn’t have to). i also would like it to support a good amount of memory. i want it to come with email connected to the domain name. i also want it to come with the other business like stuff.

i want it to be professional like with no ads. but if it has ads i’ll try it out.

and if it is possible have it so people can like have an account on the website or close to it.

Buying a domain name and having it be yours is as simple as going to one of the “top” registrars such as Network solutions www.netsol.com or Register.com www.register.com You can register a domain name and own it without having web hosting setup (both of those registrars will let you point the domain to a “coming soon” page). As far as copyrighting (I do not believe the spelling is copywriting), I recommend visiting the US Copyrights FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page at http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/

How much money you make with Google Adsense depends on how much traffic is attracted to your website. You don’t need any third party to get started with Google Adsense, so expect that the ad you saw is a scam. While you can make money with Adsense, it takes a lot of click throughs. It works like this: you put ads on your website (you see them all the time-ads by Google… and so on). These ads are for whatever service that is related to your websites topics but does not compete for direct sales. If someone clicks one of the ads on your site to view it, you get paid. The amount varies with how many visitors your website attracts, but you can expect to get paid anywhere from 5 cents, to ten cents per click. So, as you can see, it would take a lot of ads and a lot of people clicking on them to make any money. This is one of the reasons that people try to attract visitors to their website if they don’t sell anything. Companies will pay big bucks to have ads on websites that thousands of people visit. If you want to see this in action, just ask Yahoo how they charge to put an ad on their website. I’ll give you a hint; You need 0, and that just gets you an account.
