Question by Bella: Is there a domain registrar that doesn’t have email or web hosting?
While searching for a cheap domain registrar, I noticed that they all come with at least one email address (yourname@yourdomain.com) and web hosting (which I’ve already found). Are there any domain registrars that are cheap and are ONLY for domain hosting (no email and web hosting attached)? Or are there any domain registrars that offer those services as optional extras?

Question by Matthew: What’s a good cheap domain registrar?
Yahoo apparently is raising their cost to per year for domain name registration. Are there any registrars I can transfer to who charge (or less) per year? Thanks.

Question by adondo322: How do I get an EEP password to transfer my domain to a different registrar>?

Best answer:

Answer by Pete
Your question doesn’t make sense. If you want to transfer a domain you need the password that was set up when the domain was registered. This keep unscrupulous people from hijacking a domain. If you registered the domain and don’t remember the password, email the registrar or start a tech support ticket and they might be able to help by asking you for a password reminder or other information only the original registerer would know.

Question by siervocal: How long does it usually take for a domain to transfer from one registrar to another?
So I switched companies for my website. When I go to the Control Panel of my new host, it says the domain is waiting for approval. I received an email saying that they sent the required forms to my old host and that they were just waiting for approval. How long does this process usually take? I need for it to be ready by Monday (the change was done on Thursday). Thanks in advance.
