Question by snakecharmr7: Where do you go to get a domain name & hosting for a short time (1-6 months)?
I want to have a domain name and presence on the web using the home address of the home I have listed for sale. If it sells quickly I don’t want to be tied into a contract and I will need to remove the domain name.

try at www.godaddy.com. Even if you have to do a full year… it’s very cheap… and you can cancel, although I am not sure if you can get a refund of unused money

I suggest you have a look at http://www.hosting24.com they will register a domain name for free for life that comes with unlimited subdomains and come with unlimited webspace and unlimited data transfer and you can go with them on a monthly basis.
