Question by amzako: How Should I Promote My New Website?
I recently created a new website at http://wordpress-hosting-reviews.com that will provide readers with web hosting reviews and ratings written by actual customers. Can you recommend any creative ways to entice people to write reviews?

I know how to get traffic to the site, but not how to get people to leave their comments. Right now, I’m trying a promotion offering to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for everyone who write a comment. Unfortunately, that’s not really working either.

Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Well, no offense but I’d go for a new layout. That’s too basic and a bit too ugly.

Hello, I am thinking about starting a website. I am a celeb blogger (like Perez Hilton) & was wondering which service to go with.

I’ve read too many bad reviews about 1and1.com (my first choice) & GoDaddy.com (my second choice) & was wondering what other sites there are out there.

I don’t really want ads on my page unless they pay me & I don’t want to go with yahoo.

Well what you can do is go with weebly. It’s free at first but if you want to upgrade you can take off the whole weebly.yoursite name if you really decide you want to keep on with the program you can upgrade or switch to bluehost because they are kinda the best. Good Luck Man

hu? you mean you want to purchase one? then just enter the domain name into your browser as if it already existed. if it shows up then its taken if you get some error then you know you can still get it.

if you are searching for some weird porn or something then I dunno what to tell you.

Question by stamps: I am learning Dreamweaver CS3. Who should I use as a Web hosting company?
I’m actually trying to do two sites in the long run. The first will be small business. The second will be a review site with blogs/forums. My Web design experience is small, but I’m learning and have the CS3 Web package. I know how to use Photoshop well.

Startlogic has been good to me. Cheap, easy to set up a few domains under a single account.

There was another one mentioned on the Shoemoney podcast a few weeks ago. I forget the name, but go to itunes and search for the shoemoney.

Question by nzaj5412: Should I host our companies website myself, or let Go Daddy or another hosting company do it ?
Our website is hosting 1/2 tb of MP3 files, and probably a total of 1 tb of data to be hosted, including an 100k inventory in SQL.
What other companies besides Go Daddy are really good, and somewhat cheap ?
Also, if we host it, what kind of connection would you recommend ?

Definetly Go Daddy or Lunarpages.com, there a wide variety, they can offer more..
