Question by Katie: Am having someone create a flash game for me- how do I upload it to my hosting acct? Have domain name, etc.?
I have an idea for a flash game and have hired a programmer to develop it for me. I have other websites and blogs up and have an existing hosting acct. I have a domain name for this new site. This is my first game, however, and I’m not sure how to get this up and running. Thanks.

Question by Scotty: How do you transfer ownership of a domain name from yourself to someone else?
I want to register a domain name for my work to use … it’s good so I want to do it before anyone else takes it. But, if then I want to transfer it to my company, how hard would that be?

Hi Scotty,

Go ahead and register the domain. When you are ready to transfer just contact your registar and tell then you want to make the transfer.

We have transferred several over the years. It is quick & easy.

Norm

Question by Acesup: I want to purchase a domain from someone. How does the transfer process work? How long does it take?
They have networksolutions.com and I have godaddy.com. What would be the best option for doing the transfer for making sure I get the domain before I release the money…escrow.com? and how do I do the transfer normally if I pay this person in cash?

you would need a contract making out and signed by both parties so get yourself a lawyer before handing over any money you need to make everything legal thats a must

Question by adamrv1: can someone please point me to a free website host?
I need a free website host that allows me to directly edit both the HTML and CSS of the page. I need a website with a blank template so that I must manually edit the content on the page through HTML and CSS.
