you could host your site on your own server for really cheap. build a LAMP server out of an old pc, and you can have all the webspace you want.

Question by Anne: What is a GOOD free web host that can support cutenews?
I tried 007sites.com. It’s great since its got a cutenews installation. BUT, there are advertisements placed on top of the page and couldn’t get rid of it.

Are there any other sites (free web hosting sites) that also has a cutenews installation just like 007sites.com?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Question by DR. Connect: What does a webhost need to support in order for me to have a flash website?
do they need to support some type of special script… cuz i have tried three different hosts… but my site swf doesn’t show>? help

Answer by Tim
Nothing, Flash must be supported on the browser side. To the server, a flash movie is just another file.

So, make sure your website’s HTML code is correctly linking to the movie file.

Question by technical_13: Where can I find a free webhosting site that will support my formmail.php for testing purposes?
I need to find a webhost site to use as a testing ground for my formmail.php, and other PHP learning.
Does WAMP run on top of my Win32 (XPsp2 home) OS, or do I install it as a second boot OS? I like this option the best. Does it come with all of the how to use/setup documentation?

Microsoft offers free hosting and domain name, one per user, (credit card requires, though they don’t charge it, they just want to make sure its real).

Or you could honestly test it on your own computer, if you set your comp up as the server, not too hard, and all you need is a WAMP server or something along those lines, google WAMP, youll get a lot of info, and since its freeware, woot!
