You need at least a blog or a website to have traffic. I believe your files on webserver are not crawled by search engine spiders since search engines only index information from websites and blogs.

You can create a free blog from wordpress.com or blogger.com you can also have a website using godaddy.com

Some websites and blogs are having a hard time generating traffic how much more your files on a webserver.

I hope it helps.

Question by Day B: How to change a Domain name with no traffic loss?
Hi

I need to change my domain name. My website has around 3 million unique visitors/month and generates revenue through adsense. It has around 10.000 pages.

I have to change my domain name. I am very concern with traffic loss and revenue loss. I will 301 redirect all the old pages to the new domain.

Is it possible to do it without traffic loss and revenue loss? How can I do it?

You need to 301 redirect at the server level, don’t you?
