Question by Katie: Am having someone create a flash game for me- how do I upload it to my hosting acct? Have domain name, etc.?
I have an idea for a flash game and have hired a programmer to develop it for me. I have other websites and blogs up and have an existing hosting acct. I have a domain name for this new site. This is my first game, however, and I’m not sure how to get this up and running. Thanks.

Question by Babar: CSS formatting is absent when I upload my web page to a free hosting web server?
I have a simple HTML page containing one label & one heading, I use style sheet for text formatting. But css formatting is absent when I uploaded the page to a free web hosting server. How could I recover it,
thanX 4 reply. Actually matter is that my original file has lot more formatting & other elements too (e.g. php script is also an issue as it’s also facing trouble on web server). So I tried to make a very simple file (HTML+CSS) & try to make it work 1st so it will be easy in this way to solve all problems. So my problem is still how can I make css work for HTML form.
OK, I recovered from it. Problem was name of css file is Style.css. I reference it as style.css that work on apache personal web server but not on web hosting doamin server. thanX for help WebSmith.

Why you make external CSS file, when you say I have one label and one heading means you have very little css coding. When we have lots of tags, ids etc around our page then we make external css page. Ok you try this for your css.

What do you think? Answer below!

Well…you could host it yourself using a webserver such as apache or you could pay to get it hosted or you could use a free hoster such as 000webhost.com Now after you get it hosted you will need to register a domain name that resolves to your web site. Hope i helped

ooh also 000webhost can provide a free domain name for you.

I myself hosted my own webserver and got a free domain name on no-ip.com, if you have a dynamic ip (changes sometimes) their client is very helpful as it will monitor ip change and update the domain name to resolve to the ip.

Keep in mind if you host your own you will need a broadband connection and you will need to have the server running at all times.
