There is nothing special you need to do. Just keep developing and building the site. Mention it (politely) in forums and posts on the same subject as your web site.

You can submit it to each search engine through their submission web pages, but this is really not needed. Popularity is what gets you listed.

Question by just another answerless person: as for Search Engine Optimization, what is the best way to write numbers?
with letters (eg. two, forty-five) or the number itself (eg. 2, 45)???

Answer by memetrader
The best way is to write what the user will use when typing a search term into a search engine.

For example will they be searching for a book ‘tale of two cities’ or a game for the ‘PS 2′.

Use whatever the searchers use.

If you entered your site in google and it doesn’t appear then it’s because Google has not indexed it yet. If it’s a new domain just give it a couple hours for google’s robots to index your site. And since I know you wouldn’t mind being ranked on the first page of Google if you could, I just came across this review of the simplest way to do it.
